Roseville’s proposed transit fares affect riders differently—here is where to weigh in
A November 17 hearing will consider changes including a single Commuter fare, with any approved changes taking effect in 2027.

A simpler fare can still mean different things for different passengers. Roseville Transit’s October 16 proposal would set Commuter service at four dollars for everyone, compared with the current general fare of $4.50 and the $3.25 resident fare available with a valid Discount ID. It remains a proposal, not a current price change.
The city also proposes a two-dollar Rapid Link fare, a $2.50 Arrow fare and a four-dollar Game Day Express fare. Local and ADA Paratransit fares would remain unchanged. The proposed start dates differ by service during 2027, so avoid applying one date to the entire package.

A Transportation Commission public hearing is scheduled for November 17, 2026, at 6 p.m. in City Council Chambers, 311 Vernon Street. The city says a proposal advancing from the commission would go to the council’s December 2 and 16 meetings. Comments and questions can be directed to transportation@roseville.ca.gov.
When preparing feedback, describe the service you use and what the change would mean for an ordinary trip. A concrete example can make a comment easier to understand than a general reaction to transit pricing. Review the current proposal table before submitting, and keep using current fares until an approved change actually takes effect.
